Tom Jones

Welsh vocalist Sir Tom Jones OBE is a living legend. The son of a miner and homemaker who grew up singing at school and for family gatherings, he went on to quit school at the age of 16 before recording music that’s traversed many genres - pop, soul, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, indie, folk, disco and gospel, - appealling to people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities, and selling over 100 million records in the process.
Mostly reinterpreting other people's songs, he has scored Top 10 hits ever since 1965, including sixties singles "It's Not Unusual", "What's New Pussycat?", "I'll Never Fall in Love Again", "I'm Coming Home", "Help Yourself", "Funny Familiar Forgotten Feelings", "Detroit City", "Love Me Tonight", "Without Love (There Is Nothing)", and the chart-toppers "Green, Green Grass of Home" and "Delilah."
In the seventies, he enjoyed success with "She's a Lady", "Til", "Daughter of Darkness", and "The Young New Mexican Puppeteer", before the eighties delivered "Kiss" (with Art of Noise) and "A Boy from Nowhere".
By the 90's "If I Only Knew", "Burning Down the House" (with The Cardigans), and "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (with Cerys Matthews) made way for the multi-Platinum chart-topping "Reload" album, which also spawned hits in the new Millennium, "Sex Bomb" (with Mousse T.), "Mama Told Me Not to Come" (with The Stereophonics), and later "Stoned in Love" (with Chicane) and the chart-topping Comic Relief single "(Barry) Islands in the Stream" (with Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones and Robin Gibb).
