Celebrating 20 years of bringing the richness of Indian art and culture to British audiences, Utsav reflects Upasana’s journey from a local dance class in Manchester to a vibrant, international platform nurturing artistic exploration.
Journeying through art and identity, Utsav highlights
- a tribute to Upasana’s work of fostering a sense of identity with the young Indian diaspora
- four solo performances exploring personal artistic journeys, and
- a musical ensemble of professionals, harmonizing their passion for music in a powerful second-chance story.
Join us as we celebrate this full-circle moment — from the first dance class 20 years ago at The Lowry when the studios were inaugurated to this momentous Diwali evening, where community and personal expression unite in artistic revelry.
