SoundBox MusicAid presents: Joe Topping

We?re delighted that the fantastic Joe Topping is to headline our December concert, in aid of Dementia UK, at the popular venue of St Mary?s Creative Space, Chester. Join Joe, along with support act Bandarama (their specialist subject for the night - songs from the 60s and 70s!), and the MusicAid team for a heartwarming evening of music, memories and fun (and a whiff of the seasonal here and there!). There will be some ?joiny inny? bits for those who like to, and freedom to boogie if you feel moved to. The charity has especial resonance for Joe, and he?s the perfect match musically and personally for this event. The cause is close to his heart, as it is for many thousands of others whose lives have been affected by dementia. Described by Sir Tom Jones as ?a Weaver of Dreams?, Joe Topping is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Liverpool. His charismatic stage presence and engaging stories have entertained audiences all over the country and all across Europe, including live sessions on BBC Radio 2, ITV television, The National Film Awards and a showcase at SXSW in Texas. During the Covid pandemic, Joe was asked to enter ITV?s The Voice and, seeing it as fun challenge to do while the rest of the music industry was shut down, decided to give it a go. Joe reached the semi-finals and his audition alone has reached nearly 1 million views on YouTube! Joe aspires to create songs that resonate with listeners on a profound level, aiming to forge a shared connection and foster a sense of community among his audience. Guided by values of kindness, love, and social activism, Joe's music endeavours to contribute to a better world in every way possible.
