King Krule
The deep-voiced soul noir 'n' echo-chamber jazz-beats Southeast London musician Archy Marshall (a.k.a. King Krule) broke out in 2011, at the tender age of 16 with his hypnotic mixture indebted to working class British songsmiths like Billy Bragg as much as NY No-Wave and Hip Hop, carrying a maturity and depth far beyond his years.
His music blends elements of punk jazz with hip hop, darkwave and trip hop.
