"That evening as Cry Baby and the Hoochie Coochie Boys took the stage, hopes were high after (their) afternoon set, and this five-piece hit it right from the start with rhythm and blues at its very best, they delivered big time with a set of covers and originals.....The band have their own driving sound featuring Rob Wilkinson on vocals and harp, the guitar of Vince Cutcliffe, the keys of Mark Hargeaves, plus bass, Chris Bevington and drums Paddy O'Rourke. They were ready to get everyone dancing the night away, opening with (Don't point your finger at the) 'Guitar Man'....the dancers filled the floor again for such songs as 'Living it Down' and the The Thunderbirds 'Automatic'.....Jon Cleary's 'Take my Love' and a singalong 'Can I get a Witness'. How would anyone follow that?
