Since coming into prominence as a comedian in the 1970s, Les Dennis has quickly established himself as one of Liverpool?s most beloved comedy and TV stars. After rising through the northern Working Men?s club circuit and starring in The Russ Abbot Show and the Les Dennis laughter show, Les became a mainstay in Saturday night television when he hosted ITV?s Family Fortunes between 1987 and 2002. ?
In recent years, Les has lit up both stages and screens with a fleeting but fun appearance on BBC?s Strictly Come Dancing and a stint as Malvolio in Shakespeare North?s production of Twelfth Night earlier this year. ?
